Morning Routines In Sobriety

Sober life is a big change for most of us in recovery. That being said, you should know how extremely important routines are.

With that in mind, here are 5 easy ways to start your morning off the right way in sobriety:

Drink A Glass Of Water As Soon As You Wake Up

One of the best things you can do when it comes to getting your morning off to a great start is to ensure you’re drinking a glass of water as soon as you wake up.

During your sleep, you will have gone without water for at least six to eight hours, so it’s important to rehydrate your body as soon as you can. Whether this means getting up right away or keeping a water bottle by your bed, it should be the first thing you do.

Write Your Daily Affirmations

Although this is not for everyone, a lot of people like to write down their daily affirmations to help reassure them that they’re on the right path. This is extremely helpful in sobriety.

Whether that means reminding yourself that you’re loved or reminding yourself that you need to work hard in order to achieve your goals. Writing them down can help.

Consider Writing In A Journal

Another great way to get your day off to a good start is to consider wiring in a journal.

Whether you’re writing down your thoughts on the day ahead or you’re reflecting on the day just gone. Journaling is a great way to set yourself up for a good day.

For some, a themed journal is a good place to start. For a great morning journal, you can visit this site here.
