Food addiction can encompass a ton of things. Yet, if you have to battle food addiction then you have the inability to stop eating food. You don’t think of the negative consequences that excessive or unhealthy eating can have on your standard of life.

We all need to eat. It’s common sense. You could not possibly live without some form of nutrition or sustenance.

There are tons of signs and symptoms to watch out for when it comes to food addiction. Here are a few red flags when it comes to food.

- Regularly eating to a point of discomfort.
- Continuing to eat unhealthy foods despite feelings of guilt associated with eating unhealthily.
- Justifying the act of eating unnecessary food to yourself.
- Actively hiding excessive consumption of food from others (for example, hiding chocolate bars or sneaking away to eat snacks).
- Eating simply because there is nothing else to do.
- Waking up throughout the night to eat after you’ve eaten all day.
Treatments To Battle Food Addiction
Luckily, there are steps that you can take to battle food addiction and its negative consequences on your overall lifestyle.
Here are just a few to consider.

Temptation lies at every corner when you suffer from a food addiction. It’s everywhere because people need There’s. There’s no way around it. So what the hell do you do when food is everywhere you look?
